Wouldn't it be awesome if things changed just because you wanted them to change! Wouldn't it be amazing if you could just say one prayer and become everything you were created to be! That might sound good, but would it really be good? I think we learn a lot more about ourselves and our God during the process of growth than we ever would just by quickly arriving at a state of full maturity. The pain of the process. The patience with the process. The persistence in the process. The passion for the process. All necessary and critical for lasting development.
It's easy for us to dream about what we want; instead of embracing what we need. We want the end. We need the process. Allow God to reveal His goodness and faithfulness to you along your pathway, and let Him prove to you that you really can do ALL things through His strength. Wherever you might be along your journey, don't avoid the process because it is there you find true progress!
